Relief Works

At Ramakrishna Mission Ramharipur, we are committed to uplifting the lives of the underprivileged through compassionate service. Our outreach extends beyond the boundaries of the Ashrama, touching the lives of children, women, and families across remote villages. Guided by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda, we believe in empowering individuals through education, health, and essential support.

Free Milk Distribution for Poor Children
Every day, nearly 50 underprivileged children from surrounding villages receive nutritious milk free of cost. This small but impactful initiative ensures better health and vitality for children in need.

Welfare Outreach Program
We actively carry out welfare work in 22 villages across 3 Panchyet and 2 Blocks, distributing:

Rice, pulses, edible oil, salt

Clothes, blankets, and books

Tin sheets and antiseptics

These essential supplies are provided completely free of charge to support families during times of hardship. Our volunteers work tirelessly to reach those most in need, often in remote and underserved areas.

Sarada Kalyan Prakalpa for Pregnant Women
To support maternal health, we provide essential food and goods to poor pregnant women in rural areas. Through the Sarada Kalyan Project, many women from nearby villages are receiving timely aid during one of the most critical stages of life.

Educational Upliftment Initiatives
We strongly believe that education is the foundation of transformation. Our Ashrama has launched several educational projects across remote regions to bring learning to every child.

(1) Special Education Initiative
In 6 villages, we have implemented a dedicated Special Education Program that benefits around 250 poor children. This initiative helps children discover new paths and brighter futures through learning.

(2) Basic Education Development Program
We operate 14 education centers across 9 villages, covering 6 administrative blocks. These centers are bringing the light of education to rural children, fostering holistic development and confidence.

(3) Gadadhar Abhyudaya Project
Supported by Belur Math, this project includes 7 education centers across 6 villages, currently educating 368 children. It is helping children from underprivileged backgrounds gain self-reliance, awareness, and purpose in life.
